Famous Nigerian singer and songwriter Simi recently clap back at a critic who criticized her latest song while tagging her as lazy.
Simi, the Nigerian vocal powerhouse who is married to singer Adekunle Gold has been teasing her first single for the year, which she finally released this week, All I Want.
Shortly after the release of her new song, a critic, possibly a fan, took to social media to share an unsolicited review, describing the song as “lazy.”
The X user urged Simi to evolve as an artist, expressing frustration with her recent songs and labeling them as lacking in quality.
In her words, “I really need Simi to evolve as an artist. She’s stressing me with her new songs. It feels lazy.”
An unbothered Simi shared a video of her dancing to her new single as a response to the critic.
